Mythologist, Writer, Teacher, Wife

My name is Elizabeth Burr-Brandstadt, and I write and teach about many things, but mostly mythology, culture, and being a human.  I went to Mount Holyoke College as an undergraduate, and earned my PhD in Mythological Studies with a focus in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. My dissertation was entitled ” The  Mythical Threshold of Words: Vitality of Language in a Technological Age.” My greatest passion is teaching. I love talking to students about ideas, literature, and current events. Most of all, though, I think we all need to think about what the myths of ancient and modern culture makes us aware of how fascinating we are as people.
